The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, concludes her official trip to Ecuador, but before that, she gathered around a hundred businessmen from the country to explain the economic model of the region.
Díaz Ayuso has mentioned that since 2019, investments by Madrid companies in Ecuador have exceeded 380 million Euros. Nearly 9 out of every 10 Euros invested by Spain in this country.
Ayuso has criticized the «new generation opportunists with Bolivarian connections» who exploit the «grievance business» to «live off the public».
The regional leader conveyed this message to a gathering of Ecuadorian businessmen and investors organized by Invest in Madrid in Quito, where she is engaged in the second day of her institutional trip.
Ayuso emphasized that Madrid is committed to freedom and placing the individual at the center of policies. «It’s our reason for being,» she stated.
«We are against collectivizing to make it invisible, to control it, to suppress it, to tutor, to make it dependent, and also to multiply the grievance, which is a huge business, for some to perpetuate themselves from the public, to live off the public without the public functioning,» she explained.
«And obviously, I am not referring to career civil servants, who are excellent,» Ayuso clarified, but rather those who, through international agendas, «infiltrate all liberal democracies and all administrations that always have Bolivarian connections.»
The Madrid Government defends that Ayuso has attended 140 out of 143 plenary sessions in the Assembly
«What a coincidence that they all support each other and all talk so that nothing prospers because the person who owns property, has a business, has a family, and has life projects, is free,» Ayuso asserted, suggesting that they need citizens to be «divided, entertained, and offended all day with problems that do not address the root cause.»
The president affirmed that we must uphold «above all the rule of law as a fundamental principle» because a popular democracy is «the worst of tyrannies,» entering through liberal democracies to «establish themselves from within and through the strategy of decay, destroy everything, the company, justice, and the free media so that one day when they have everything, there is nowhere to report it.»
She emphasized to Ecuadorians that Madrid is the only region in Spain without its own taxes, only the state ones that «could be reduced further.»
Furthermore, she criticized a national government that takes part of the revenue to «fudge the figures for the outside world.»
«Madrid invests in legal security because we respect the work of judges and justice; respect for the company because we do not meddle in it to change the rules of the game or dictate how things should be done freedom, and security on the streets so important and being taken away here by narcodictatorships,» she pointed out.
