The Virtual Health Card (VHC) has included in the Medication window general information and recommendations for the patient on the use of medications. There are a total of four documents, which are downloaded individually, and explain how to take the treatment properly and safely, what to do with the medicines we have at home or when we go to a consultation or a hospital, and what their use should be in the case of traveling.
When the user first enters this section of the VHC, an informative window with access to these files will automatically pop up, and they will have the protocols to follow in the informative icon located in the top right of the screen.
Additionally, a new entry advising on the use of medication will be added to the card’s news carousel, linking to the informative documents.
The Virtual Health Card includes information on heat waves, such as the expected maximums or alert levels
On the other hand, users who make a dispensation at a pharmacy in the region will receive a notification about the transaction made to confirm whether it was the beneficiary who withdrew it or not.
Furthermore, the name of the establishment will be indicated, and if the response is negative, the system will send an email to the pharmacy inspection for verification.
In the case that the collection was made in another region, it will only be indicated that it was delivered outside the Community of Madrid, as pointed out by the Digitalization Department.

This new functionality adds to the 185 already contained in the VHC and the more than 60 services.
The Digitalization Councilor, Miguel López Valverde, has valued it as «another step towards the health and personalized well-being of the citizen» and has emphasized that this application offers «more and more utilities virtually, accessible from any location, without having to travel and in real time.»
