We contacted the job placement agencies in some of the municipalities in our region to find out what job offers they are currently managing.
This time, we were assisted by the Head of Employment and Entrepreneurship at the Alcobendas City Council, Pilar Pérez, who highlighted that among the most in-demand profiles are laboratory technicians, mechanical installation managers, electromechanical maintenance operators, as well as butchers or binding assistants.
There are also vacancies in the healthcare sector, such as nurses and TCAEs for the care of people with intellectual disabilities, as well as positions in cleaning and pharmaceutical quality control.
More than 350 active job offers and a career guidance program for individuals over 30 years old
We also discussed their new free Career Guidance Program aimed at individuals over 30 years old who are actively seeking employment. To participate, all that is required is to be registered as a job seeker and provide identification. The program includes personalized tutoring, group sessions, and direct contact with job offers. All job offers are available on the city council’s employment portal. Pilar reminded us that the tool allows users to determine if they meet the requirements of the offer, which is helpful in avoiding common mistakes such as not having a driver’s license or specific training.
