
Alcobendas will inaugurate its San Isidro festival this Wednesday with the lighting of the fairground, kicking off a program that includes 14 free concerts until Sunday, featuring bands such as Los Secretos, Fangoria, Malmö 40, and the Vulkano Orchestra.
The festivities offer a program of activities for all ages, especially aimed at families, as indicated by the city council in a statement.

It is also worth noting that there are daily verbenas, dances, theater, and sports activities, with Sunday being designated as «family day» so that residents of different generations can «share a beautiful day» with shows, face painting, balloon twisting, motorcycle exhibitions, special prices on rides, and a paella for over 1,000 people.
The city council also mentioned that the forecast of rain for tonight has forced the postponement of the fireworks scheduled for today until midnight on Saturday.

The festivities have a special security and emergency operation in place with over 150 local Police officers, in addition to members of the national Police and Civil Protection.
For the first time, there will be a drone with a people concentration calculator to prevent overcrowding, and in the children’s ride area, there will be a local Police station, a field hospital, municipal ambulances, and a mobile citizen service office.
The cleaning efforts will also be reinforced during the festival days with a special cleaning and waste collection operation that will utilize over 150 containers of various sizes to encourage waste separation and recycling.
