
The National Police have arrested three men accused of defrauding more than 200,000 euros by posing as a company for the sale of meat, fraudulently using the commercial identity of a legal company dedicated to the distribution of eggs to request frozen merchandise from a Portuguese supplier and sell it to companies in Fuenlabrada and Calera and Chozas, in Toledo.
The detainees were part of a criminal organization with a clear division of roles.

While one of them was dedicated to impersonating the data of solvent companies, the other two managed the reception and transportation of the products, as highlighted by the National Police in a statement.
The operation began last May when investigators detected a possible misuse of the identity of a company in Madrid.
The scammers even hired four refrigerated transport trucks, three of which reached their destination, with a total value exceeding 200,000 euros.

Part of the merchandise was stored in a warehouse located in Fuenlabrada, where refrigeration conditions were respected, and the rest in an installation without refrigeration cameras in the town of Calera and Chozas, owned by an acquaintance of the implicated individuals.
The cargo was later sold to a sausage company without, in this case, respecting the cold chain.
During the raids, the Police seized five mobile phones, SIM cards from different operators, company stamps, and photocopies of forged IDs.
The detainees have been brought before the court as alleged perpetrators of fraud and membership in a criminal group.
