Dueña de piso en Móstoles reclama deuda de 9.000 euros a okupas por trapicheo de drogas.

New case of squatting and the impunity of the inquiokupa. The owner of an apartment in Móstoles has been fighting for a year against a tenant who not only stopped paying rent but also, as reported, turned the apartment into a marijuana selling point.

The property is located on Avenida del Dos de Mayo. In 2021, a couple moved in as tenants and paid rent without issues for two years until they started asking for rent reductions claiming that the man had cancer. They were granted the reductions but stopped paying since July 2024. They have a daughter.

The owner’s son confesses to Telemadrid that they are desperate as they need the money to pay for their mother’s residence. The current debt amounts to 9,000 euros and they are eager to recover the apartment as soon as possible. To achieve this, they have hired a company specializing in eviction that talks about drug dealing by the squatters. «The squatters do not listen to reason and this generates anxiety for us,» laments the owner’s son.
