The mayor of Valdemoro, David Conde, has announced that his municipal government, formed by PP and Vox, is working to include a reduction in the IBI in the fiscal ordinances to offset the imposition of the garbage tax by the Pedro Sánchez government.
He made this announcement during the press conference following the Madrid Regional Government Council, which was held extraordinarily in Valdemoro and where the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, detailed an investment of over 230 million to strengthen and improve public services in the municipality.

Conde, after meeting with Ayuso before the Government Council, recalled the «precarious state» in which they received the city council and their efforts to normalize the institution in the year and a half that he has been leading the municipal government.
«We have approved two budgets after 14 years and we are on the verge of approving the third, which will allow us to pay off the debt, start and improve municipal facilities, pave roads, and make progress in security, among other issues,» added the mayor of Valdemoro, who also announced the addition of 24 new Local Police officers.

Regarding regional investments, Conde highlighted as a major novelty that the Madrid Regional Government will allocate 12 million for the construction of a new institute in the El Hospital neighborhood, in addition to other investments in housing, health facilities, educational institutions, and social services.
Furthermore, the mayor reviewed the new infrastructures resulting from the investment actions of the Madrid Regional Government, such as the Duque de Ahumada special education center, the new Courthouse, the expansion of educational centers, or the third health center, whose construction is already underway.
However, despite his gratitude, Conde has requested the regional president to «connect new links to the El Hospital neighborhood or build another institute,» as well as requesting her assistance in «finally resolving our disastrous Cercanías train line.»
