On Saturday, March 29, Alcobendas will host a flag swearing ceremony for civilians in the Plaza Mayor starting at 12:00, an event organized by the Brigada XII (BRI XII) that reflects the commitment of the Armed Forces to society and the interest of citizens in reaffirming their bond with Spain.
The organization of this event presents a unique opportunity for those who wish to publicly express their respect and loyalty to the flag, a symbol of unity and constitutional values.
This will be the fourth civil flag swearing ceremony held in our city, following those celebrated in 2012, 2014, and 2007 coinciding with the ‘Constitution Day’, and the City Council has requested it due to the great reception it had on all occasions and with the aim of strengthening the connection between the citizens and the institutions that ensure their safety and well-being.
