The Madrid City Council celebrates the Family Festival at Madrid Río. A morning full of activities for all audiences, with over twenty activities, games, workshops, theatrical performances, and musical performances from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm.
The day will kick off at 10:45 am with a batucada rhythm performed by students from the Municipal School of Music in Moratalaz and Ciudad Lineal.
Starting at 11:00 am, inflatable castles and trampolines will be set up at the cultural area of Madrid Río (access from Paseo de la Chopera, 6 and 10).
Various municipal resources will participate in the event, coordinating different activities. The Family Support Centers (CAF) have organized workshops on drawing and creating personalized bookmarks.

Mask Workshop
The Moncloa Ceramics School will host a mask workshop, and the Urban Planning, Environment, and Mobility Area has prepared environmental education activities with fun and informative proposals on healthy eating and textile waste reduction.
In addition, Voluntarios por Madrid has planned activities such as the volunteer roulette and a storytelling session by participants in their ‘Seniors also tell stories’ initiative.
They have also organized guided family tours around the Madrid Río area.

Exhibitions and Music
Municipal emergency services will also be part of the day.
The Municipal Police Canine Unit will perform an exhibition, and the Madrid City Firefighters will showcase and provide information about their vehicles.
Musically, the day will be entertained by the accordions from the Municipal School of Music in the Villa de Vallecas district (at 12:15 pm), the performance of DeivyDeivid and his band (at 4:30 pm), and the group Lobos Negros (at 6 pm).

Theater at Nave de Terneras
Throughout the day, theatrical performances will take place at the Nave de Terneras in the Casa del Reloj Cultural Center (entrance from Paseo de la Chopera, 10):
- At 11 am, the adaptation of ‘Blood Wedding’ by the Sansara Theater Company from the Santa Ana and San Rafael School
- At 1 pm, theatrical scenes by junior and senior students from the Municipal School of Dramatic Art; at 4 pm, excerpts from the school version of ‘Matilda’ by the San Alfonso School
- At 5:15 pm, the performance by the ‘Voices of Bohemia’ choir from the Municipal Music School in the Ciudad Lineal district
