Delegation reproaches Ayuso for creating «alarm»
The Government Delegate of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has reproached the Executive of Isabel Díaz Ayuso for creating «alarm» about insecurity in the region in order to «instill fear» to gain «some kind of advantage».
He has responded by letter to both the Madrid President, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the Minister of Interior, Carlos Novillo.
Martín has criticized the «unthinkable exercise of tremendous irresponsibility just practiced» by the regional government to create «the worst kind of political spasm» that «only seeks to gain notoriety».
Crime in Madrid: fewer murders and violent robberies, but more rapes and riots
Martín has emphasized the low crime rates in the Community of Madrid over the past decade and that his work is to «continue improving», but for this, «rigor and proportionality are needed» while Ayuso’s Government «only seeks to instill fear to gain any advantage».
