San Sebastián de los Reyes is kicking off a special program to celebrate the 533rd anniversary of the city’s foundation. The first activities will take place from April 25th to 27th with the Foundation Market.
Set in the Renaissance period, it will be located in the vicinity of the Plaza de Toros, featuring commercial and entertainment events, as well as ‘Da Vinci’s Inventions’, a spectacular reproduction of some of the great inventions that Leonardo Da Vinci created throughout his life.
Many of the shows will be complemented by spectacular scenography, bringing significant innovations to the historical reenactment.
The story behind the foundation of San Sebastián de los Reyes
One of the main activities is the representation of the foundation of San Sebastián de los Reyes, which will have six showings between Saturday and Sunday. Another highlight is the Renaissance educational concert, scheduled for Saturday, April 26th at 5:30 PM.
