Meanwhile, regional firefighters have had to carry out 292 interventions since the blackout occurred at 12:30 p.m., with no serious incidents reported in any case.
The Community of Madrid’s 112 service has managed 3,139 cases – without any serious incidents – from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with 292 requiring the intervention of the region’s firefighters.

Many of the cases involved individuals with respiratory needs, and nearly 300 were related to people trapped in elevators.
