The Plenary of the Alcobedas Corporation definitively approved the transfer of two municipal plots in the Madrid community to build 700 low-cost rental houses, within the Live Solution Plan.
Before the debate on this point, Mayor of Alcbendas, Rocío García Alcántara, wanted to «value the historic step that our city can offer today, promoting the construction of almost 700 new rental houses at affordable prices and with the best qualities.»

These are plots D2, on Camilo José Cela, 28 years old, in the North District, with nearly 12,000 square meters, and EG7 rests, on Avda Olympic, 6, almost on the edge of the district and central district urbanizations, with nearly 20,000 square meters. The motion was supported by PP and Future Alcobendas, while PSOE and Vox abstained and opposed more Madrid Alcobendas.
The allocation is the result of negotiations carried out by the current government team to include Alcbendas in the Plan -Wn the live young solution of the Madrid community announced by Madrid President Isabel Díaz Ayuso after the extraordinary government council held in our city on April 10, 2024.
Alcbendas was the only municipality in the environment not promoting the life plan, because the previous government did not allocate plots to this regional program.
