This recognition has been acknowledged by the Spanish Federation of Large Families, which has awarded this municipality with the Family Tourism Seal.
The Family Tourism Seal, already held by nearly 200 establishments and destinations throughout Spain, was created in 2013 by the FEFN to recognize and distinguish destinations, accommodations, and companies in the tourism sector that cater to the needs of families when traveling and adapt to what they require.

The Mayor of Aranjuez, Miguel Gómez Herrero, has emphasized that this seal represents «the recognition as a family tourism destination of a town that receives the visit of thousands of families throughout the year, attracted by the beauty and the extraordinary historical legacy of this Villa.»
Aranjuez is the third municipality in the Community of Madrid after San Lorenzo de El Escorial and Torrelodones to join this list of family destinations that focus on families so they can enjoy a leisure and tourism experience adapted to their needs.
