The Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián de los Reyes has submitted allegations against the Noise Action Plan (PAR) of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, denouncing that the disturbances have been affecting the center of the municipality to a greater extent for months, so they offer dozens of measures to reduce these sounds.
The city council (governed by the PP) insists that now the noise is heard «throughout the municipality,» since in the previous mandate the local government (then in the hands of PSOE and Cs) requested a change in routes, causing the disturbances to grow in the central area and affect «thousands of city residents.»

Therefore, they have now submitted allegations to the PAR and have hired a consultancy firm «specializing in the subject,» which has carried out a «comprehensive report» on the diagnostic measures proposed by the Ministry of Transport.
In their allegations, they include «numerous suggestions and measures to be taken to reduce aircraft noise» to «benefit all residents» of San Sebastián de los Reyes.
The Councilor for Environment, Diego Domingo, argues that this municipality «deserves to be heard» and warns that if the Ministry of Transport continues with the «lack of collaboration or complicit silence,» the city council «will be forced to resort to the judiciary to defend the rights of residents.»
